In late 2014, drummer Shawn Drover and guitarist Chris Broderick decided to part ways with legendary thrash metal band, Megadeth. Founding members, Dave Mustaine and David Ellefson, were then left with two spots that needed to be filled if they were to continue touring and writing music. Luckily, the band was able to recruit Kiko Loureiro of the Brazilian metal band Angra to play lead guitar on their forthcoming album. They were also able to recruit Chris Adler of the groove metal band Lamb of God to perform drumming duties on the album. In January of 2016, Megadeth released Dystopia, which received much critical acclaim. The album proved that even 30 years into their career, Megadeth can still play with the best of them.
